Corner Shop X WE MADE THAT Public Realm, Community Engagment, Ethnograthic Study, Policy 

In collaboration with corner shops and the community in South-East London, we created a book of cornershop policy, documenting the culture and value of corner shops within our community and a guide that can be used to help preserve elements that are important. 

The corner shop is a point of exchange for stories and news, as much as it is for goods and services. There is a familiarity we all have with the space; it is a place of convenience and retail, but also of community connection.

Working with We Made That, we explored hidden social value within the 15 minute city, thinking about everyday spaces that are often overlooked.
