To support engagement with the canal, the terrascope was designed to enhance the sensory experiences of our environment.

Inspired by the stethoscope, these tools offer the ability to observe sound in places we might not usually think to listen.

The listening tools are embedded within objects that can be used to enhance other methods of ecological engagement for example, digging for clay and carving wood.

These tools connect to the notion of care, exploring how we can listen more closely to the world around us.
